[1] N.H. hereditary members may also designate one successor member and one life associate member.
[2] Caleb Blodget, while serving out of New Hampshire, moved to Boston after the war and joined the Massachusetts Society in 1783. He has not been represented since the original member.
[3] Amos Cogswell was an Original Member of the Massachusetts Society. He joined the N.H. Society in 1801 having moved to Dover, N.H. He is presently represented in the Massachusetts Society.
[4] Henry Dearborn moved to Massachusetts and was admitted to the Society there by right of residence in 1813 where he remains represented.
[5]Bezaleel Howe, while serving out of New Hamsphire, remained in New York City at the end of the war, and joined the New York Society where he is presently represented.
[6] Amos Morrill, while serving out of N.H., later moved to Vermont and joined the Massachusetts Society by 1812. He was represented in the New Jersey Society on a life loan from 2008-2021 by a collateral descendant.
[7] Dr. Jacob Hall, Jr., while serving out of N.H., was a native of Pennsylvania and moved to Maryland after the war, where he joined the Maryland Society in 1784 and has been represented there by several of his descendants.
[8] Dr. Ebenezer Stockton, while serving out of N.H., was a native of Princeton, New Jersey, and was an Original Member of the New Jersey Society and was represented there by two descendants. He has been represented in N.H. since 1990.
[9]Capt. Ebenezer Sullivan has been represented in the Massachusetts Society since 2018, and by a successor member in New Hampshire since 2020.
