Samuel Beach

Lt. Samuel Beach, Seth Warner’s Green Mountain Boys

Samuel Beach was born in 1752. He was the son of Gershom and Elizabeth (Salter) Beach. Samuel Beach’s first revolutionary service in 1776 during the American invasion of Quebec. He is listed as a Private in the Green Mountain Boys muster roll under Colonel Ethan Allen. Samuel Beach was commissioned as an Ensign in Colonel Seth Warner’s Additional Continental Regiment on April 14, 1777. Ensign Beach was promoted to Lieutenant on September 14, 1778.

Lieutenant Samuel Beach is listed on the Vermont Pension Roll effective July 16, 1828. Lieutenant Beach died April 10, 1829.
