Ensign Joseph Lawrence, 1st Regiment New Hampshire Continental Line
Joseph Lawrence was born January 12, 1736 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He was the son of Ebenezer and Sarah (Hammond) Lawrence.
Joseph Lawrence was commissioned as an Ensign in Captain Jason Wait’s Company of the 1st Regiment, New Hampshire Continental Line on November 8, 1776. He residence is listed as Walpole, New Hampshire. Ensign Joseph Lawrence died in service on June 4, 1777.
